The purpose of the event was to introduce students to various design pathways (higher ed, start ups, corporate internship, etc) by allowing to hear from students who have gotten those opportunities in the 2025-2026 recruiting cycle.
Yes, the event went smoothly and people were engaged, asked questions, and stayed until the end to network with speakers and peers.
I'm not sure what number was recorded on the AS attendance, but if there was difference, it may have been because attendees had to fill out multiple forms for attendance, food, ask panelists questions, etc, so maybe they missed a form.
We had some tech issues with speakers not working and set up taking longer than expected.
Changing the timing of the event. When we hosted our panel, a lot of students hadn't revealed their summer 2026 plans yet, which made looking for speakers a hard task and delayed our marketing.
We could have played around with the graphic order to display our speakers first, drawing more people's interest (marketing designs here, supporting documents only allows for one file https://www.instagram.com/p/DXaYmDXD4ER/?hl=en&img_index=1)
