This was our first AS-funded event so we gave a ballpark on how many people we believed would attend. In terms of funds allocated, the difference was relatively small. Still, to decrease the difference, in the future we will promote our event earlier, more often, through broader avenues, with formal marketing designs.

To learn about the history and culture of the labor movement within a German and international context and to promote community among German speakers/German learners on campus.
Yes, it was our first funded event. We got prospective members to show up and had good discussions about the history of Tag der Arbeit.
No.
None arose.
More aggressive promotion.
Promote earlier.
The funding application to invoice to TAP pipeline is a bit confusing for first time funded event planners like we were for this event. A centralized guide for planning an entire funded event (with clarification on how to fill out which forms, which meetings must be scheduled, a timeline and what you can expect) would be tremendously helpful.
