Afghan Cultural Night
100
There was a slight difference in the estimated and Actual attendance numbers. There may have been a difference because I know a lot of students had went home for mothers day the next day, so some of our expected attendance members couldn't have made it. We can decrease the difference in attendance number by promoting more on social media and posting about the event sooner so more people are able to find time in their schedules.

The goal of this event was to bring together the Afghan UCSD community through friends, amazing food, music, hospitality and to spread what our culture and heritage means to the community. We shared reflections on what it means to be afghan and encouraged others to learn of our amazing community. This event was truly like bringing home to our community and show our appreciation back to the ucsd community!
Yes, this event was definitely a huge success! We also had students whom have never attended our club events before come and introduce themselves and met a lot of new people. We have also received a lot of amazing comments and feedback from non-afghan students who attended and have grown a greater appreciation for our culture and hospitality.
I'm not too sure since I don't see access to the AS attendance verification. As a board we did make sure to check that people submitted their applications before entering the venue, we did have some students state that the system was showing as down on their phones while they were checking in, either due to the wifi or current issues with the checking in system at that time, but we made sure to display the QR code during dinner time again for those who had issues while first entering the event. If there were some deviations it may have just been some students we missed to check if it was a bigger group coming in all at once or wifi issues we were having at a certain point of the beginning of out event.
No complications.
Everything was smooth and had a great event and items. The only thing I would improve would be to promote the event sooner and more staggered out through out the week to keep the audience engaged.
We would improve our advertisements and promotions by starting to post them more in advanced, and reaching out to other organizations whom members may be interested in our club to repost and spread the word as-well.
No, all was good.
