WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
The purpose of the event is to create a conference-style experience for senior students to present their Senior Design projects, for all interested students to learn about bioengineering research, and network with professors and researchers at UCSD.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Yes, we consider the event was successful. We had a large overall attendance that was consistent throughout the various events of the day. We also had considerable turnout by 1st and 2nd year undergraduates, who we are trying to encourage attendance by. Attendees reported good experiences at the event, and we saw a large number of Linkedin and Instagram posts appreciating their experience.

DID ATTENDANCE DIFFER FROM WHAT WAS RECORDED ON A.S ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION? IF SO, WHY?
We believe actual attendance was slightly higher than recorded on the AS attendance form, but the vast majority of attendees recorded their attendance.

WHAT IF ANY COMPLICATIONS AROSE DURING THE EVENT?
No major complications arose during the event. Overall, the check-in process was a little bit chaotic because we had a large number of pre-printed name badges.

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
We would streamline the check-in process to reduce how long people have to wait. Additionally, we would work on better organizing pre-printed name badges.

WHAT ONLINE CHANGES WOULD YOU MAKE TO ADVERTISEMENTS OR PROMOTION?
We would post on Instagram more consistently leading up to the event, and also collaborate with other organizations to cross-post our event materials.
