Week 3 GBM

Open Details

This was one of our lowest attended events we have held. We believe it is because this was catered towards freshman trying to navigate college. Therefore, our usual attendees did not show up. The event one week prior to this one had 67 attendees. We can try to be more inclusive on class sizes when planning future events.

The goal of the event was to help new incoming first years navigate college and get them acquainted to UCSD and its offerings.

No, as mentioend earlier, our attendance was much lower than our usual expected numbers. Therefore, there could have been better turnout.

Our most valuable resource would most likely be the experiences and advice our officers have to offer. We can nurture and guide new undergraduates that feel overwhelmed and lost.

To improve the next event, we would try to be more inclusive when planning the events, rather than try and cater the focus of the event to a specific group. This could possibly increase our attendance, rather than have such a drastic rage.

We promote the events the same way each time, with fliers and on our social media. Therefore, I do not believe any adjustments needs to be made on how how we promote the event.
