Spring TritonWare Showcase

Open Details

We think it was mostly because of the AS form - at the end of the event, we had 81 people fill out a voting form, and many people had already left or didn't fill out that form (myself included). We also were strict about the check-in process, so that wasn't an issue. Conservatively I'd say we had at least 90-100 people, but I think it's pretty likely we got 120.

Annual funding from the CSE department, fundraising money from merchandaise

To showcase the games made during our bi-annual TritonWare game jam. This was with the goal of building a game development community on campus, which we believe was extremely successful.

We loved the event and believe it significantly improved on our last showcase. People's feedback was also extremely positive, and attendance was good, so it was a success overall.

We think it was an issue with the AS attendance form, given that we had people who we knew filled out the form who didn't show up in the list, and we were strict about the check-in process

There were no major complications, just minor steps to improve for the next showcase.

A bigger venue with more spaces for additional computers would have helped a ton - people loved getting the chance to play each others games, but it ended up being a little congested having only one laptop per team.

No major online changes this time around

Other than the form issues this time, the process was great, thank you!
