IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? We anticipate that Memorial Day Weekend decreased our attendance significantly. In the future we will plan for this by reducing our event expectations on holiday weekends.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
Our purpose was to create a bonding opportunity among LGBTQ+ STEM students by providing a relaxed dinner party experience.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Sadly no - our event attendance was much lower than anticipated. However, for the students in attendance, the event was a great success! Students were chatting, eating together and playing games together while learning about LGBTQ+ history.

DID ATTENDANCE DIFFER FROM WHAT WAS RECORDED ON A.S ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION? IF SO, WHY?
Yes - some emails were not recorded on the form. Specifically, I noticed that my response was not there even though I was the first to fill it out. I am unsure why this has occurred but this is not the first time oSTEM has had trouble with the form and resulting spreadsheet.

WHAT IF ANY COMPLICATIONS AROSE DURING THE EVENT?
No complications.

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
We would improve our attendance by chalking around campus, and posting more on social media. We could improve banquet attendance specifically by better advertising the free dinner.
