IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? There was a slight difference of ~60 students between our estimated and actual attendance numbers. I believe this happened due to GBMs for other organizations happening at the same time (e.g. AMSA and VSA), which could cause members to attend those GBMs instead of ours. In the future, we can bring our estimate lower in case of other GBMs happening at the same time.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
The first general body meeting (GBM) of Fall Quarter will provide information about the service, social, fundraising and other events and opportunities that we offer. We will also share and detail our mission statement: we are a student-run, nonprofit humanitarian organization that aims to help the underserved communities both locally in San Diego and abroad in Vietnam through medical and educational means. This is one of our most important events of the year, as we will use this event to attract new members as well as retain previous ones who support our cause and/or are interested in the events we have.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Yes, I believe this event was a success due to new members getting to see what M.E.M.O.'s mission is and what we stand for as an organization and decide if they would like to be a part of our organization or not. Since there was a huge turnout and what appeared to be many interested students, I believe this event will bring lots of new members into our organization.

DID ATTENDANCE DIFFER FROM WHAT WAS RECORDED ON A.S ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION? IF SO, WHY?
I am not sure what the exact number of sign-ins was on the A.S. attendance form, but I do not believe the attendance number will differ since we had members sign both forms at the same time. We also mandated that members at least sign the AS sign-in form before receiving Cane's and checked before they received it.

WHAT IF ANY COMPLICATIONS AROSE DURING THE EVENT?
If any complications arose during the event, they were quickly met and resolved by the Presidents along with any other Board members of our organization.

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
To improve for the next event, M.E.M.O. will complete the planning process more in-advance to smooth out any kinks before the event.
