HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? Our marketing boost from tabling greatly increased our presence from our GBM event, so a lot more people were aware of the Kickoff event and wanted to join our game jam. Actual attendance numbers are actually smaller than the real number of participants as not everyone could make it to the event itself, but are participating in the game jam.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
This event is for VGDC members that have signed up for our 2 week long game jam (an event where you develop a game in a short amount of time). During the event, we will reveal the theme of the game jam and allow for team members to meet one another and brainstorming game ideas to develop. This is an event we host twice a year and its purpose is to introduce game development to UCSD students of all disciplines - art, music, programming, design, writing.

Yes because compared to previous and estimated attendance numbers, we grew a significant amount with plenty more teams participating this quarter.

No, our pictures seem to match up with these massive attendance numbers.

Shift pickup time for food to make sure it is able to arrive with enough prep time for the officers to lay them out.
