IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL ATTENDANCE NUMBERS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? We have never hosted a large fall event before, therefore our estimated attendance was lower than our actual attendance. Our “actual” attendance listed above is an estimate based off of how many people filled up our seats at the event, and how many filled out our general Eventbrite used to estimate how many people would come. We, ourselves, did not count nor know how many people came total.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
Our goal was to bring together the art community through a fun masquerade making and casino night themed Halloween event.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
We believe this event was a success because many attendees stayed for the entire duration of the event and enjoyed the mask making activity and some other activities we hosted for the event. We had so much traction that we ended up using everything that was AS funded, a very minimal amount of what was left was discarded

DID ATTENDANCE DIFFER FROM WHAT WAS RECORDED ON A.S ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION? IF SO, WHY?
We do not have access to the AS attendance spreadsheet so we can not say how many people actually filled out the form. For a more accurate attendance estimate, please refer to that

WHAT IF ANY COMPLICATIONS AROSE DURING THE EVENT?
No specific complications during the actual event, but more issues with delegation and logistics from the pre-event planning and initiating on ArtSpark’s event when it came to setting up and instruction

WHAT STEPS OR ITEMS WOULD YOU IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT EVENT?
We would try and initiate more planning prior to the event itself. Nothing specific to funding went wrong, we think we will continue on in the way that we have for that.

WHAT ONLINE CHANGES WOULD YOU MAKE TO ADVERTISEMENTS OR PROMOTION?
We would likely do more promotion with different kinds of flyers and banners to try and attract more people
