HOW CAN YOU DECREASE THE DIFFERENCE IN ATTENDANCE NUMBERS FOR FUTURE EVENTS? This event is typically held during the fourth week of each quarter, but scheduling conflicts required us to reschedule it. The change may have reduced attendance, as some participants may not have been aware of the new date or had other commitments. To improve awareness and participation, we plan to have professors promote the event to their students.

WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OR GOAL OF THE EVENT?
The goal of the event is to provide a space for students and faculty to connect/network outside of the classroom. It allows for students to better learn about their professors, career journeys, research interests and opportunities.

DO YOU CONSIDER THE EVENT TO HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Yes, we consider the event a success. Although attendance was lower than in previous quarters, several students shared that it was highly beneficial and provided valuable opportunities to connect with their professors.

DID ATTENDANCE DIFFER FROM WHAT WAS RECORDED ON A.S ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION? IF SO, WHY?
Although we were unable to confirm the A.S. attendance verification response, we believe the discrepancy resulted from confusion about the sign-in process. Some attendees did not realize they were required to complete both forms.
