The goal of our event was to encourage socialization for attendees and members who are working on a portfolio project. We wanted to bring together the community and have artists work together, bond, and critique with each other.
We do believe this event was a success because the food we requested for the event definitely encouraged a lot of people to attend especially since our event took place in the evening when people usually have dinner. Lots of people bonded with one another and we got positive feedback about the structure of the event.
We don't believe it differed too much, but we don't have access to how many people attended. The attendance we wrote down here was an estimate to how many people we counted in-person.
We did not have any complications.
We would likely try to request flyers earlier instead of later since it would make better use of flyers to have them requested at least a week in advance so they can be handed out and hung up around campus for longer.
We think that our online advertisements were done well. Next time, we could try and produce a short video/reel for the event.
It would be great to get a status update on how many people filled out the form as the event happened. I know that might be difficult to do through Google Forms since there are multiple events happening at once each day, but this would be beneficial to see how well our club is doing in terms of attendance vs. our estimated attendance. Thanks so much!
